Julia Dalton-Brush Makeup & Hair

Bio

Julia S. Dalton-Brush started loving makeup at a very young age. She began playing with colors and understanding textures in elementary school and never stopped. Throughout high school and college she worked with friends on any photo shoots they had and was always the makeup artist on hand for every wedding. It wasn't till she finished college and worked in the "real world" that she realized there was no job for her but makeup and hair artistry.

Since then, she has worked with numerous high end designers, celebrities, TV, film and print campaigns, and her work has been featured in many top magazines.

Julia also makes it a priority to work with numerous charities and is able to incorporate her passion of teaching. She loves being able to bring her knowledge of beauty and bring it to women's shelters where women are trying to get back into the work force. She teaches corporate makeup courses and helps women feel their best so they can be their most confident for any interviews they have.

Julia also co-owns JV Studio, a photography/hair/makeup studio in Manhattan and is also the Beauty Editor for Bloginity.

Julia lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
